Me
I'm always trying to learn new things but still keep an untrained spirit to what I do.
I'm not sure it's a good idea to make verbal statements about visual things but, if I had to, I'd say my work is urban, spontaneous, raw, unfussy, energetic and playful. I like mixing up bits of high-brow and low-brow culture, using stories from the mythic past and the modern world.
I use lots of techniques; slab-building, throwing, slip-painting, glazing and mould-making. In addition I decorate with sprigs, transfers and lustres.
Education/Life
Originally I studied acting at Mountview Theatre School. From there I spent many years working in film and TV production. In 2019 I graduated from the 2 year City Lit Ceramics Diploma Course.
